Hi,
I would really appreciate some help.
For some months now my full paid for version of Spectaculator will not start up.
Firstly, I have sent support requests via. the Spectaculator home page three times now and had no reply.
Secondly, I've sent a PM to the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/spectaculator/ and had no reply.
Hopefully someone here can help me fix this, or at least point me in the direction of the Spectaculator devs, or anyone who provides support.
My PC:
Win 7 Ultimate 64bit.
Geforce GTX 1060 6GB.
Until recently Spectaculator has worked absolutely fine since I've had this PC for some 4 years or so (and indeed on my previous PC), only recently I upgraded the GPU to the one above. Maybe this is the problem? I am not sure if I ever used it successfully with the new GPU.
The problem is that when I attempt to load Spectaculator, I get the Windows error message:
Spectaculator ZX Spectrum Emulator has stopped working.
Bla bla check for a solution etc
Problem signature:
(a long list of jargon)
If it would be of use to anyone willing to help, then I shall by all means type up all of the report, I have images but I can't attach them here.
I am hoping someone knows how to do some sort of "clean install" of Spectaculator or some other easy fix.
I have obviously tried to uninstall / reinstall Spectaculator in a different directory, re-installed my PC display drivers, this doesn't fix it.
I have changed the compatibility settings, run as Admin etc, makes no difference.
Any help will be most gratefully appreciated.
Andy.
