Take an emulator of your choice (I chose Spectaculator and Spin) and load up Gauntlet 3. Choose to control player 1 with 'Kempston' and play the game. Oh dear! The 'Kempston' doesn't actually move the player in the right directions!
Was this a problem with the original game, or is it a problem with the Kempston emulation? I only ask because I tried another game with Kempston emulation a few days back and the left/right controls were reversed in that too. I put that down to a 'dodgy game', but now I'm beginning to wonder. Trouble is... I can't remember what the other game was now!
