Yet another "enhanced" Spectrum emulator for those interested.
Some of you might have seen the videos on this channel:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCu76xCVuQcnT6Ym-K-4DYJQ/videos
There was also an undocumented quiet release on zx-pk forum in the spring, but many things have changed since then, the old version is incompatible with the new game files.
Note that usability or precise Spectrum emulation weren't the goals (so very basic command-line interface, pentagon timings only, no MEMPTR, no AY sync to Z80). It was made to emulate an external video device being (very slowly) developed, and initially only one aspect of it - faster and more flexible recolouring (compared to Spec256 approach for example) of existing Spectrum games with or without the source code (somewhat like ClashBasher, but less automatic and more powerful) while not impeding further enhancements. Also to test my other ideas not necessarily related to the ULAX, like Adapturbo™ B-)
As the first post isn't editable later on this forum, actual download links will be here on my zx-pk blog page:
https://zx-pk.ru/entries/360-zx-ulax-download-links.html
Sorry, but in-depth documentation will remain russian-only for some time.
But there's enough english to run them games. ;)
